obervations and comments

Observation: We went to Mr. Ong's "sugar mill, paper mill, and Styro foam factory. The sugar mill factory was located at danao, we observed at the time we went in we directly noticed that the odor has a very bad smell. But even with the bad smell we really had fun because we had a tour inside the factory. In paper mill factory (located in danao) it was really nice because there was discussions on how the papers are being processed. Same in the sugar mill factory we took on a tour which had us inside the factory. We also saw cartons mixed with water. And the last but not the least, the styro foam factory tour (located at mandaue), we had the most wonderful time there because we saw ice bucket being processed (in different colors). We also knew at that moment that styrofoams are just somewhat similar to popcorns because it is like from small you put it in a machine (or an oven) so that the little styrofoams turns to big as you see in ready made products.

Comments: Actually this was the first time in our batch we had a field trip. It was very memorable and we knew that it was going to be fun and exciting. In the factories in danao, it was very nice and a little not so nice because the people had discussed all things needed for the processing of paper and sugar but the not so nice thing is that the odor inside the factory was bad. But not at same as in Mandaue where we went to a styrofoam factory which we saw ice buckets, styro balls and many more things made by styro foams. Indeed it was a memorable day for us Juniors and Seniors ( hope this field will not be the last )!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thats aLL!!!
